A desperate attempt to rest my hand and get away with not drawing too much. Unfortunately, it hurt even more to write all that text -- D'OH! (again) I was purposely vague on the time period the story is set in. On the one hand, everyone looks like they stepped out of the past and the "narrator" makes reference to present-day grandchildren, so the story must have taken place a number of decades ago. On the other hand, I included the iconic Petronas Twin Towers in the scene to anchor the setting to Kuala Lumpur, but the towers have only been around less than a decade.
